After decades of research, vacuum glazing technology has made a great process. One Company built the vacuum insulated glass production lines in its factory in 1996 with an annual production of 60,000 m2. The capacity was then expanded to 240,000 m2 in 1998.

(2) The Development of vacuum insulated glass in China

A pilot-scale vacuum glazing production line was built by one company in China around 1998, using domestically developed equipment, materials, and production processes. Upon further improvement of the process, equipment automation, product quality, and production capacity, an automated vacuum insulated glass production line with an annual output of 50,000 m2 was built in 2004.
